Born in the Vosges, Olivier Dartevelle studied the Music in Remiremont, his birthplace, then in Nancy before joining the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique of Paris. First soloist of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, Olivier Dartevelle has done many concerts, as well as soloist or chamber musician. In parallel, he carries on a pedagogic activity at the Conservatoire National de Region of Nancy. Olivier Dartevelle played or recorded the most significant concerts of the repertory with conductors such as Philippe Herreweghe, Leopold Hager, Carl Davis, David Shallon. Impassioned chamber musician, he creates the Trio Jericho which explores an unwell known repertory. Olivier Dartevelle also has a composer activity. His works cover the field of the chamber music and comprise several instrumental cycles.
