Biography:
Auritus Quartet: Four musicians from the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Key-Thomas Märkl, Leopold Lercher, Klaus-Peter Werani and Stefan Trauer, have come together through numerous chamber music projects: they play programmes that combine the classical-romantic repertoire with works from the 20th and 21st centuries. They often play pieces that are otherwise rarely heard in concert halls. They work closely with contemporary composers. In 2005, they recorded a CD of works by Nikolaus Brass for the col legno label.
