In this respect, Wulf Weinmann is consistently continuing along the path he embarked upon with his former label, col legno. Long-standing partners such as the Internationale Musikinstitut Darmstadt (IMD), the Donaueschinger Musiktage des SWR and musica viva of Bayerischen Rundfunks have agreed to continue their collaboration with NEOS in the future.

NEOS has since expanded its program: four product lines are being developed in the context of new music in collaboration with internationally renowned composers and performers who have a wide-ranging repertoire: recordings that combine tradition and modernity, works by earlier masters in previously unheard or rarely heard interpretations, mostly original arrangements, and a jazz line with musicians who are better known from the contemporary classical scene, such as Olga Neuwirth, Michael Wertmüller, and Mike Svoboda.

NEOS releases approximately 25 CDs, SACDs, and DVDs per year, which are distributed worldwide (in Germany via PIAS / harmonia mundi). High technical quality of the recordings is a matter of course. Design and attractive packaging are also central concerns: all productions are released in elaborately designed digipacks with detailed text information (in at least three languages), illustrations, and musical examples.
