Biography:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthias Mueller, geboren 1966, in Basel aufgewachsen, studierte an der Musikakademie Basel Klarinette, Komposition und Klavier. Seine wichtigsten Lehrer waren Hans Rudolf Stalder und J\u00fcrg Wyttenbach. Seit 1996 ist er Professor an der Z\u00fcrcher Hochschule der K\u00fcnste (ZHdK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthias Mueller ist einer der vielseitigsten Musiker seiner Generation. Er ist international t\u00e4tig als Komponist, Solist, Kammermusiker, Improvisator, Produzent, P\u00e4dagoge, Forscher und Unternehmer. Als Komponist umfasst sein \u0152uvre Kammermusik, Orchesterwerke, Musiktheater und elektronische Musik. Als Interpret pflegt er die gesamte Klarinettenliteratur und spielte \u00fcber 100 Urauff\u00fchrungen in Zusammenarbeit mit Komponisten aus aller Welt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aus seinem seit 2000 verfolgten Forschungsprojekt SABRE entstand eine Firma f\u00fcr Musiktechnologie, die sich auf Sensortechnologie in der Schnittstelle zwischen akustischer Musik und digitaler Technologie spezialisiert.
