Harry White teaches saxophone at the Zurich Conservatory Music School. He plays in many renowned orchestras (including the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra, SWR Sinfonieorchester Baden-Baden und Freiburg, Berlin Philharmonic). As a member of the Raschèr Saxophone Quartet, he has also worked with Luciano Berio, Philip Glass and Sofia Gubaidulina.
Pi-Chin Chien is an internationally sought-after soloist and chamber musician who performs in the world’s most important concert halls (including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center New York, the Berlin Konzerthaus and the Zurich Tonhalle). At present, her album Taiwan Rhapsody (Sony Classical), on which she interprets Taiwanese folksongs accompanied by the London Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, is enjoying great success. Pi-Chin Chien is a member of the Zurich Ensemble and the Ensemble Kandinsky.
Edward Rushton studied piano and composition in Manchester, Cambridge and Glasgow. He moved to Zurich in 1998, where he studied lied accompaniment in the master class of Irwin Gage. He completed his studies with honours in 2001. Since 2000 he has been an instructor in lied accompaniment at the Lucerne Music Academy. He has performed with many singers in many European countries, plays in various chamber music combinations and has recorded several CDs. Edward Rushton is also known as a composer.
