Wrote a detailed review Paco Yanez on 9.12.2019/XNUMX/XNUMX:

In the November 2019 issue, Dirk Wieschollek wrote:

(…) Compositions by Ivan Fedele, Malin Bång, Marco Stroppa, Agata Zubel, Mirela Ivicevic, Francesco Filidei and Hermann Meier were selected. All pieces that uphold Donaueschingen's tradition of innovative orchestral composition, but some remarkably differently formatted premieres (e.g. Enno Poppe's “Rundfunk”) are omitted. A highlight of Donaueschingen 2018 was “splinters of ebullient rebellion” by Malin Bång (…), which was honored with the orchestra prize.
