In this respect, Wulf Weinmann is consistently continuing the path he took with his earlier label col legno. Long-term partners such as the International Music Institute Darmstadt (IMD), the Donaueschinger Musiktage of the SWR or the musica viva of the Bayerischer Rundfunk have agreed to continue working with NEOS in the future.

In the meantime, NEOS has expanded its program: four product lines are being developed in the context of New Music in collaboration with internationally renowned composers and performers who have a wide-ranging repertoire: recordings that combine tradition and modernity, works by earlier masters in interpretations that have never or rarely been heard before mostly original arrangements as well as a jazz line with musicians who are more familiar from the contemporary classical music scene, such as Olga Neuwirth, Michael Wertmüller or Mike Svoboda.

NEOS releases around 25 CDs, SACDs and DVDs per year, which are distributed worldwide (in Germany via PIAS / harmonia mundi). High technical quality of the recordings is a matter of course. Design and attractive packaging are also key concerns: All productions are released in elaborately designed digipacks with detailed text information (at least in 3 languages), illustrations and sheet music.
