»Bach today« includes a colourful, versatile and multi-faceted programme. The well-known flute works by JS Bach and his son CP E. Bach are the basis for this CD. The filigree-groovy accompaniment of the highly virtuosic baroque pieces by the experienced percussionist, enriched with skillful improvisations, let the "baroque classics" appear in a completely new light and are very contemporary.

Stephen Keller (* 1961)
Stefan Keller is an internationally active flautist. He cultivates a wide range of musical styles and instruments. This is expressed in his various projects and the invitations to flute festivals. Cross-border performances such as "under water", "Schreinerei", "Factory" etc. show the broad concept of the concert of the bustling flutist. It can also be with a yodel choir in a carpenter's shop, with computer animations in the church, with the welder in the factory or in the indoor pool »under water«. The musician also likes to stage unusual combinations such as flute with double bass, flute with drums, flute with live electronics. Keller's artistic work was generously supported several times by the Aargau Board of Trustees. He stayed in the Aargau studios in Paris and Berlin. A specialty of the flutist are the deepest and deepest flutes such as alto, bass, double and sub-double bass.

Bede Ehrensperger (* 1980)
At the tender age of five, Beda Ehrensperger played with his mother's cooking pots. His uncle soon gave him a drum kit, followed by his first lessons and his first band at the age of eight. While studying music at the Zurich University of the Arts, Ehrensperger devoted himself to jazz, which gave him a link to African rhythms. He was drawn to Ghana, where he absorbed African music with master drummer Kofi Missiso and the »Ghana Cultural Ballet«. Back in Europe, he gained a permanent place in the European reggae scene with "The Dubby Conquerors" and proved his versatility as a rhythmic jack-of-all-trades in jazz and Afro projects, choirs, classical ensembles, improvisations and solo pieces. He is now relocating to Ghana, where he is pursuing his own compositions under the name »Beda Massive Tribe«.
