Biography:
Aleyda Moreno, born in 1982, studied composition, piano and electroacoustics in Mexico City. In 2006 she was a FONCA scholarship holder. She participates in the improvisation group »Noiztrik« and works with filmmakers and choreographers. The unifying element of their diverse artistic activities is their understanding of music as a sensory experience of sound, metamorphosis and mysticism. She regards her entire work as an allegory of the magical: she transforms layers of perception that may be hidden from others into sound.
