Biography:
Daniel Lombardi is a composer, pianist and visual artist of international standing because of his exceptional repertoire. He has created an extensive work on the music of the historical avant-garde at the beginning of the 20th century - with world premieres of futuristic music from Italy and Russia.
Daniele Lombardi's musicological interest is also documented in various writings, e.g. Il suono veloce - Futurismo & Futurismi in musica (Milan 1996, Ricordi-Lim). He is an expert in contemporary music graphics and performance practice and has composed numerous works over the past decades.
As a guest in many major concert halls and at important festivals (including Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and Biennale Musica di Venezia) he has played in various countries. For several years he directed the Festival Nuova Musica Italiana e Nuova Musica Internazionale in Rome.
Daniele Lombardi teaches piano at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan.
