Biography:
Born in Argentina in 1976. His training enables him to practice music across genres, across folk music, early and classical music. He studied composition with Éric Gaudibert and Ivan Fedele and attended the course for young composers at IRCAM.
His music has been performed at several festivals (Musica, Gaudeamus, Voix Nouvelles, Archipel) by various ensembles and soloists (Contrechamps, Accroche Note, Cairn, Sillages, SIC, D. Michelle Dansac). He received commissions for compositions, e.g. by the French State, the Royaumont Foundation, the Francis et Mica Salabert Foundation and the Nicati Foundation. Fernando Garnero currently lives in Paris.
