Biography:
Juan Jose Barcenas, born in 1982, studied composition at the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. Since 2001 he has been working as a freelance composer, video artist and sound designer. His work focuses on electro-acoustic and multimedia concepts. He has received grants and awards from the FONCA program and the Seoul Computer Music Festival. He is a member of the electro-acoustic experimental ensemble »Colectivo Kaoss« and has been teaching computer music in Santiago de Querétaro since 2005.
