Biography:
Zvi timeline was born in Dubrovna/Belarus. He grew up in Israel, where he studied Judaic Studies at the Hebrew University between 1940 and 1943. At the age of 11 he became the youngest scholar in the history of the Juilliard School. There Zeitlin studied with Sascha Jacobsen, Louis Persinger and Ivan Galamian and completed his education with a diploma and a postgraduate diploma.
Solo performances have taken him to the New York and Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestras, the Israel Philharmonic, the Boston, Chicago, San Francisco and Vienna Symphonic Orchestras, La Scala, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the BBC Orchestras, the Orchester National de France and the Orchester de la Suisse Romande. He regularly undertakes concert tours to Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Central America and South America.
