Biography:
Antje Messerschmidt, born in 1970 in Zeulenroda (Thuringia), received the Stavenhagen Prize of the city of Greiz in the violin category at the age of fourteen. She studied in Weimar; she has been living in Berlin since 1991 and works in ensembles of various styles (classical, new music, jazz, chamber music pop music). She recorded radio and CD productions, many of them with Hermann Keller.
