Biography:

Irvine Arditti, born in London in 1953, studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he received the Arditti Quartet Founded. He performs in the most important concert halls and festivals worldwide and is committed to the most demanding new music.

In addition to his appearances with the Arditti Quartet, he also plays hundreds of world premieres as a soloist. He performs with major orchestras and ensembles: Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony, RSO Berlin, Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest, Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, Munich Philharmonic, Orchester National de Paris, Het Residentie Orkest, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Asko Ensemble, Ensemble Contrechamps, London Sinfonietta, Nieuw Ensemble in Amsterdam, New Ensemble Moderne, Oslo Sinfonietta, Schoenberg Ensemble.
