Biography:

Joachim Vogt comes from Dittersbach in Bohemia. After studying school music and German studies, he went on to study singing at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin.

During his studies he was engaged by the Rundfunkchor Berlin. At the same time, extensive musical activity began as an ensemble vocalist (Capella lipsiensis, Berlin soloists), as a guest at the German State Opera Unter den Linden, at the Komische Oper Berlin and as a leading interpreter of contemporary vocal works.

He designed about 150 radio productions and participated in numerous record and CD productions. For a few years he worked as head of the singing department at the Handel School in Berlin.

In addition to project-related concert activities, Joachim Vogt sings in the Bayreuth Festival Choir and teaches at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin.
