Annette Reisinger, violin
Aroa Sorin, viola
Matthias Diener, violoncelloThe MINGUET QUARTETT, founded in 1988, is one of the internationally most sought-after string quartets and performs in all the major concert halls of the world, whereby the passionate and intelligent interpretations of the Minguet Quartet ensure an inspiring listening experience - »[...] because the sound and The joy of expression with which the ensemble brings the works to life enlivens even the smallest detail«. (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung) Its namesake is Pablo Minguet, an 18th-century Spanish philosopher whose writings endeavored to give the general public access to the fine arts. For the Minguet Quartet, this idea is the artistic program. The ensemble concentrates equally on classical-romantic literature and modern music and is committed to numerous world premieres of compositions of the 21st century. Encounters with important composers of our time inspire the four musicians to always come up with new program ideas. The first complete recording of the string quartets by Wolfgang Rihm, Peter Ruzicka and Jörg Widmann are among the most important projects. The latter was awarded five stars by FONO FORUM in May 2015. With the complete CD recording of the string quartet literature by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Josef Suk and Heinrich v. Herzogenberg (cpo), the ensemble presents its great sound culture and opens the audience to the discovery of impressive music of the Romantic period. In 2015 / 2016 there are invitations to the Ocean Sun Festival (MS Europa), Stuttgart Music Festival, Würzburg Mozart Festival, Ultrasound Berlin Festival and the Potsdam Sanssouci Music Festival , to the Munich Residence, the Berlin Concert Hall and the Austrian National Library in Vienna, as well as concert tours to Great Britain, Italy, Finland and the USA. A fulfilling 2014/2015 season took the Minguet Quartet to the Cologne and Berlin Philharmonics, the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, the Alte Oper Frankfurt, to Paris, Vienna and Venice, as well as to the USA, Canada, Japan, Central and South America. The outstanding event was the performance of Karlheinz Stockhausen Helicopter String Quartet at the invitation of the AUDI summer concerts 2015 as part of a concept by the conductor Kent Nagano. Partners include the soprano Mojca Erdmann, the baritone Christian Gerhaher, the clarinetists Sharon Kam and Jörg Widmann, the pianist Andrea Lucchesini, the violist Gérard Caussé, the actor Michael Degen, the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, the hr-Sinfonieorchester and the WDR-Sinfonieorchester under the conductors Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Markus Stenz and Peter Ruzicka ECHO Classic 2010 awarded.
