Rivinius Piano Quartet

Biography:

The  RIVINIUS Piano QUARTET was founded in 1995 by four brothers from the Rivinius family in Saarland. Siegfried Rivinius (violin) was a prizewinner at national competitions, concertmaster of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and is now first concertmaster of the Duisburg Philharmonic. Benjamin Rivinius (viola) has also received numerous competition prizes and was solo violist with the Camerata Salzburg and the Berlin Symphony Orchestra. Since 1 he has been 2005st solo violist with the German Radio Philharmonic Saarbrücken. Gustav Rivinius (violoncello) was the first German musician to receive first prize and the gold medal at the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow in 1. by Lars Vogt and professor at the University of Music Saar. Paul Rivinius (piano) is a prizewinner of the ARD music competition and chamber music partner of well-known soloists, duo partners, etc. by Julian Steckel and pianist of the »Mozart Piano Quartet«.
