Biography:

ROBERTA GOTTARDI has dedicated herself to the classical and contemporary repertoire as a soloist and member of an ensemble since the beginning of her career. She is also particularly interested in performance practice on historical instruments. She has performed at Italian festivals and in several international concert halls: Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Festival Pontino, Munich Biennale, Bologna Festival, Venice Biennale, Autunno Musicale in Como, Festival Nuova Consonanza, Gaudeamus Muziekweek in Amsterdam, Warsaw Autumn, Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, South Bank Center in London.

She received the Cesare Barison Prize for chamber music and first prize in the competition sponsored by the Stockhausen Foundation. She collaborated with numerous composers such as Stockhausen, Fedele, Cifariello Ciardi and made CD recordings for Edipan, Symposium, Philarmonia, Stradivarius, Altrisuoni, Stockhausen Verlag and NEOS as well as several radio recordings for Rai Radio1. Roberta Gottardi teaches at the Bolzano Conservatory.
