Biography:

Roberto Fabbriciani, born in Arezzo in 1949, studied with Severino Gazzelloni. As an internationally recognized interpreter and innovative artist, Roberto Fabbriciani renewed the technique of playing the flute by multiplying the tonal possibilities of his instrument.

For a long time he worked together with Luigi Nono in the EXPERIMENTALSTUDIO of the SWR and broke new ground with him in music. He collaborated with some of the most important composers of our time, who dedicated numerous works to Fabbriciani, which he premiered.

As a soloist he plays under important conductors and with internationally renowned orchestras. He is a guest at the most important international festivals, e.g. Biennale di Venezia, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, in Ravenna, London, Edinburgh, Paris, Brussels, Granada, Lucerne, Warsaw, Salzburg, Vienna, Lockenhaus, Donaueschingen, Cologne, Munich, Berlin, St. Petersburg, Cervantino and Tokyo.
