Biography:

After studying in Dresden, Roland Kluttig was musical director of the chamber ensemble Neue Musik Berlin from 1993 to 1999. From 2000-2004 he worked as musical assistant to Lothar Zagrosek at the Stuttgart State Opera, where he directed the CD production of Schönberg's "Moses und Aron" and the premiere of Morton Feldman's "Neither".

With extraordinary programs from Purcell and Mozart to xenakis and Zappa he is a regular guest conductor with the symphony orchestras of the radio stations in Stuttgart, Freiburg, Berlin, Frankfurt and Leipzig as well as with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin (formerly Berlin Symphony Orchestra) and the Residentie Orkest Den Haag.
