Biography:
Max Simonischek, born in Berlin in 1982, completed his acting studies at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. He had engagements a.o. at the Burgtheater in Vienna, at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin, in the Munich Kammerspiele, at the Salzburg Festival, at the theaters in Stuttgart and Frankfurt and at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. In addition to readings in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, he is regularly in front of the camera for film and TV, e.g. B. as a commissioner in their own ZDF TV series laim or in the movies The hireling boy, On a slope, File Grüninger, The Divine Order and Zwingli.
For his theater work, Max Simonischek received the NESTROY Vienna Theater Prize and the Friedrich-Luft-Prize for the »Best Berlin Production«. For his film work he received the German television prize for Hindenburg, the Swiss television prize for The hireling boy as well as two nominations for the Swiss Film Prize as »Best Leading Actor«.
